Internal Hemorrhoids Treatment
Internal hemorrhoids treatment can be, but not all inclusive, the
following; Surgical procedures, herbal or natural remedies, and
creams that will ease symptoms. The best way to cure
hemorrhoids is obviously prevention, this can easily be achieved
by changing your diet or by taking regular supplements along with
some exercise.
Temporary relief of irritation and pain can be obtained by using an
over the counter cream, applied to the effected area with an
applicator which is usually supplied with the cream, however if not,
just use a cotton ball or apply with your finger tips.
These hemorrhoid creams are full of active ingredients that when
applied instantly relieve any irritation and discomfort from pain
offering some comfort from the suffering. There are special mild
creams that will help with the treatment of bleeding hemorrhoids,
these creams work fast and will again help with pain relief and
sooth the discomfort without causing any further damage to the
sensitive tissue.
Herbal and natural remedies have become very popular with
sufferers of hemorrhoids, an all natural treatment with
ingredients extracted from Horse Chestnut, Butcher's Broom
and the exotic Japanese Pagoda Tree. All have been tried
and tested with varying results, if you do decide to go down
this route, please consult your doctor, as some of these can
worsen certain conditions and may not be recommended
while pregnant.
These herbal hemorrhoid treatments contain natural astringents
and painkillers, astringents are used to strengthen and contract
venial tissue, this reduces the hemorrhoids and helps prevent
them occurring again.
Soaking in a sitz bath or just a warm bath with also help relieve
pain and discomfort, with the use of medicated pads and
hemorrhoid cushions, all this will help the individual obtain some
rest bite from the symptoms of hemorrhoids.
If the hemorrhoids are so chronic and consistently re-occur or are
thrombosed, then the Doctor may advise the individual to go for a
surgical procedure to remove the tissue causing the problems.
There are several procedures, depending on the severity and
location of the hemorrhoids, for internal hemorrhoids ligation may
be the procedure chosen. This is where a small rubber band is
positioned around the hemorrhoid to interrupt the blood flow,
this will cause the hemorrhoid to eventually 'drop off'.
This procedure can be done at the Doctors surgery with little
preparation, other procedures include, a hemorrhoidectomy,
cryosurgery and laser treatment, all of which need far more
preparation and explanation.
If you have a problem with hemorrhoids or are concerned in any
way please consult your doctor immediately.
